Square leather drinks coasters
Hand-painted leather coasters - the assorted designs are embossed and dyed to accentuate the details of the motif.
These decorative drinks coasters make a perfect gift - they can be ordered in sets of two or six. Standard designs include cats, rabbits and hedgerow flowers but we can make up sets to order based on other motifs e.g. dogs, butterflies or horses heads.
The designs are hand-drawn and then embossed, before painting with leather dye. To protect the coasters from drink spillages we tried a number of waterproofing solutions before settling on a light polymer coating as we found this provided some water resistance whilst not impacting on the integrity and feel of the leather.
