Leather greyhound / whippet collars
Quality plain leather greyhound and whippet collars made bespoke for your dog.
Our greyhound and whippet collars are made from 3.5mm thick veg-tanned leather in a choice of tan or chocolate brown. They can be made in a range of sizes to suit your dog. We use traditional stitching methods throughout (no rivets) which results in a collar that is strong and hard-wearing. All edges are carefully bevelled to ensure no rough edges that might give your dog discomfort.
Silver (nickel plated) buckles are available in three sizes (16mm, 20mm and 25mm) but solid brass buckles are currently only available for the larger sizes of collar as these are 25mm and quite heavy.
In order to choose the correct size collar you will need to know the circumference of your dog's neck. This can be measured using a soft tape measure or by measuring your dog's existing collar. Measure from the most used hole, to the end of the leather where it goes around the buckle (i.e. to the end of the leather if the collar is laid flat or to the bar across the buckle if your collar has a double bar buckle like the ones shown in the photos).
The width of the centre part of the colour can also be varied. For large collars we do a middle width of 63mm (2½ inch) as standard; smaller collars have a middle width of 50mm (2 inch); collars of a medium length have a medium width of 58mm (2¼ inch). If you require a specific width this can easily be accommodated.
